I Visited the NYMR For the second weekend of their ECML gala which ran in place of the advertised LNER Gala.

I visited the NYMR over the Easter Weekend, spending Friday and Monday on the trains and Saturday and Sunday linesiding and hanging around the stations!

I popped up to the NYMR again today (and popped, not punctured, popped my car tyre 2 miles from grosmont!!!), met a few people I know and had a good day, on the trains anyway! A bit dull for a few of my pictures though.

 | 11th Mar 2007 | Volunteers Open Day
In an aim to recruit more volunteers, the NYMR ran an open day on 11th March, offering a free ride and the chance to talk to the department heads and members off staff, in the region of 500 people attended the event

 | 24th Feb 2007 | 24th February - Winter Running Day
I went up to the NYMR for a trip while the winter timetable was running, in steam were LH&JC No 29 and BR Std4 No 80135. BR K1 No 62005 was also being prepared for service the next day.
